Plastic Buttons Jigsaw Puzzle

One of the games we played as a child is "I spy", One would hide a particular item & the rest would have to find it. Buttons were hard to find.

Seeing these buttons reminds me of my childhood. A bunch of buttons in a tin can waiting to be sown onto clothes that lost a button here and there.

Pretty buttons for just being plastic.

When I see buttons I think of my grandmother. She made her daughter's (my aunt) wedding gown. It had covered buttons with satin loops from the back of the neck to down below the waist, I don't even know how many. I watched her make them! (Barely any space between them!

Love the odd little one in the middle. Had an ok Christmas. Christmas eve day I spent with my daughter and then Christmas day I spent with my sister and her boyfriend. Still miss my husband and fiancé. I just pray that 2022 will be a whole lot better, for all of us.

I love cloth covered buttons with loops. My mother had a dress with a line of them down the entire back. It was beautiful but hard to do up or open.
