White plates stand upright in a yellow kitchen dining hutch in this puzzle for adults. Kitchen hutches, or cabinet, is a popular piece of kitchen furniture used for storing cutlery, glasses and plates.
Well, I certainly didn't get any awards for this puzzle....good grief! I have always liked plates displayed like this and have never had the chance to display my plates. Ah well, time marches on.....all over my life! Blessings to all.
This style looks like a country kitchen. I had my china displayed like this at one time. Now they're stored and come out anytime I want to use them, I no longer wait for holidays.

I have always thought why do we only bring out our china when it is an "occasion". But trying to convince my hubby that we can actually do this, is like pulling teeth from a chicken. He is very, very traditional, but I'll keep working gently with him!

Good luck to you in your endeavor. I had come to the same realization. My children loved it, and my friends did too. I would have my girlfriends over for brunch, and we would enjoy each others company, and feel special with the fine China. During quarantine it was not possible; and still not as my health has declined some. I am unable to physically and mentally keep up; smaller groups are much better for me now - although, we still use the China.

I do much better with small groups. I have my daughter, her partner and the granddaughter that lives near us to Easter dinner tomorrow because everyone is busy this weekend. But that is all right. I do 3 big dinners during the year-Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. These are the days where we get to eat well, remember how lucky we are to be able to be together, and I get to show off my culinary skills! LOL!

Nhoward, that sounds perfect to me. My children and some friends were over for Pesach. During the height of the pandemic, we zoomed, it was wonderful having everyone together. We too only do the holidays. I'm getting to old to take on everything, so everyone has their share, and no one is overwhelmed; we get to enjoy each other's presence and delicious food.

And that is why families are the best blessings from God.
Took a lot longer than I thought it would.

I thought the same as you as I was muddling through this puzzle. Love the quote from Buddha. Thanks, my friend.

I stepped away and forget to pause it. My total time was 57.25, but the actual time at it was about 20 minutes shorter. I often forget to pause prior to stepping away.

It really doesn't bother me as to how long it takes to do a puzzle. I just enjoy doing them.

Trynfindit,
lol I hear that. I think I'm going to free myself of worrying about timing.
elijah13,
I think that is the best idea. I have always enjoyed jigsaws, they are entertaining and relaxing.

There ya go. I'm working on ridding myself of anything that even vaguely resembles a 'Type A' personality. lol

Lol life, or at least mine, requires flexibility. Plus, I don't want to place constraints on something that I enjoy. I might want to time myself on occasion, but not each time.
When I saw this puzzle it looks easy using the Classic cut with all the straight lines. Boy, was I wrong. Like some of you I don't do the timing. They would have to use very few pieces and I like to do over 100 most of the time and just enjoy doing the puzzle. I have my china boxed up also. Would love to have a display like this.
