I love corn on the cob. It's best when cooked in the microwave with the husk still on (silk removed! ). Cook until it smells like corn!
I pull the husk down, remove silk, put back up and wrap with an elastic band.
Some mouses are battery operated and some are electronically operated. Some mouses come with laptops. With laptops you can purchase an external mouse. I've had to replace keyboards and mouses.
Sometimes it depends on what your mouse is sitting on, AS, or eating. Have you been giving it any cheese? Try switching to peanut butter. Mice like that too, but make sure it is the creamy kind and not the chunky spread.

Glad to see your post this morning ParsonWayne missed them yesterday. I have come to look forward to them as much as Aussie's quotes. Your puns are always excellent. Thanks for the laughs they help me keep going. Be safe.

Things you might check on your mouse...
1. Is the bottom of it clean...
2. If it has a laser shield make sure it is opening when the mouse right side up.....
3. Have you changed or cleaned the surface or the are that you are using.
4. If you have a store that can check it to see if it is faulty or worn out.
I find my last longer and stay cleaner if I use a mouse pad than my desk top, but I usually have to get a new one every few years. Hope this will help you out.

Aussie, do you use a mouse pad? We've had a few wear out, for lack of a better description. I think they collect dust, lotion remnants, body oils, etc. Clean both the bottom of the mouse (don't put the cleaner directly on the mouse) and the pad and see if that helps.

It happened to my wireless mouse too. A technician told me to clean the bottom of the mouse with alcohol, it worked for mine. If did not work then change the battery of the mouse.

Don't use TOO much alcohol. Don't want it staggering all over the place.

Yes, son has me use alcohol on both my mouse & mouse pad, he also has me use a man's dress white handkerchief to put the alcohol on, they have less lint. Also make sure the thing that plugs into the computer is tight, have been known to get it loose either when I've cleaned around my computer or we have had an earthquake, some fit tighter than others.

Aussie, as anulik said, check the battery. My mouse went strange this morning and a new battery solved the problem.

Thanks for all your helpful advice. I did give it a clean, as well as the mouse pad, and it seems to be working better now. I am not sure if you have methylated spirits in North America, but that seemed to do the trick. Maybe that is what is known as cleaning alcohol. And PW, It is nice that you are concerned about the mouse getting drunk hehehe. Hugs.

We have all kinds of spirits here in the USA. Just go to any liquor store. lol

Our methylated alcohol is 90% ethanol and they add 5% methyl alcohol which is poisonous and bad tasting so people will not drink it, though some people still do.

My last comment was supposed to say: methanol alcohol not methyl alcohol. And ethanol is what they put in our gasoline in the USA.

I use 70% Alcohol Rubbing Alcohol, used as antiseptic & sanitizer, antibacterial cleansing agent for minor cut & abrasions, body rub, massage. It is for external use only. (don't let you mouse drink it). I find it cleans lots of things, but not on any wood. It is also flammable. I also clean my mouse every couple of weeks, sometimes longer just when I can find prints or stuff on it. I don't use it on my monitor, found a cleaning gel kit that I really like for it, does not leave a film on it. It's a Zeiss product and it also comes with a washable microfiber cloth.

Happening here to PW but not a popular choice. Hugs.

Something is wrong with the bottom of my mouse and it has really slowed me down. God a cure anyone?
