Oh dear! I'm afraid I have recently developed the same malady from too much computer mouse! Have you had or are you going to have surgery?
Mine has started with severe itching and tingling on the back of my hand. I think it might go all the up my arm, too. Let me know how you are doing.

The muscle between my thumb and index finger gets swollen and hurts all the way up to my biceps so I wear a brace sometimes. Lately my last three index fingers get swollen and cramp so I rest my hand for a couple days. I need to monitor my computer usage to avoid damaging my hand further. I dont use the finger pad at all..it aggravates the hand even more. So monitor your usage when the hand hurts to avoid further injury..thats what my Dr says.

Hand problems are such a pain aren't they! mine are forever going dead - they feel like tingly lumps of wood! Partly carpal tunnel (which is why the pinkies aren't affected) but I think - looking at my lumpy wrists!!! - also arthritis. But, hey, they still work so what the heck! :-))
good night dear friends
see you tomorrow
