My dear Aussie and Akan sorry I did not respond sooner At the end of May things took a very bad turn for the worst, during a visit to California to see my family, something happened that brought up some extremely bad memories that I thought were buried so deep I thought I would never have to relive them, but they are here and I am not dealing with them very well and on top of that one of my dogs died very unexpectedly and Ed has not been doing to well. He saw his cancer doctor last week had to have another shot, to help keep his cancer under control...much sooner than he was supposed to have one. But at least we are not sick.Have been doing the puzzles and reading the posts, just have not been up to talking. You all are in my thoughts and prayers and I do hope you are doing well. Be safe

Oh, darambo, you have almost too much for anyone to bear - is there a counselor you can talk with for a while? It might help with the memories; I know from personal experience that burying them doesn't really help. Just like with yours, they crawl out and bite you as the worst time. Give it all to God - just bundle it up and say, "God, you'll have to help me with this. I can't do it all by myself this time." Amazingly, that works. Plus, I'm praying for you, too. Hugs.

Akan my doctor advised me to seek counseling but at this point I just can't talk to anyone, publicly at least.My son went to visit my family also when this occurred and it was all I could do to tell him and my hubby when we got home...to explain my behavior. The thing that is getting to me the most is first I found out my younger sister was also involved and the worst betrayal was I found out from my sister my Mother, who I idolized...knew about it. If I had known I would have tried to protect her and the guilt of that is also tearing me up. Also can't afford to go, my insurance would charges me $ 40.00, a visit and the closest county mental health is a 70 mile round trip. No public transportation and they took my drivers license away because of my epilepsy and Ed is not up to doing any longer drives.....except locally, because of his cancer. Once, when I was a little girl, my Dad and I went out after supper to get the cows. One of these beautiful prairie sunsets was happening, and my Dad pointed and said, "See that colour, McGinty? That's sky-blue pink." I've always remembered that, and even wrote a song that mentioned sky-blue pink. He passed away 13 years ago today, and this coincidentally this puzzle came up, bringing with it that precious memory.
