Pretzels! When we used to quilt with my mom there would always be a bowl of pretzels in the middle of the quilt to snack on cause they don't get your hands greasy. What a nice memory. Miss those days but I do have the memories! Thanks Crazy for the memories!
That reminds me of all the times my parents, particularly my mother, made us wash our hands - before reading library books, before doing any needle work (knitting, crocheting, counted cross stitch, embroidery, etc.) so we wouldn't get any grease, dirt, or body oil on them. And of course before making food!
