I don't like coffee so I don't care for those either. The funny thing is I can't stand coffee but everyone says I make the best coffee, isn't that something?

They say that about me relative to salalds which I don't care for. I guess we both try extra hard because we don't, puzzlelover.

That may be true. My mom says its because I don't know whether its good or not. I like to do things for others. I was always taught that was a way you could show love even if you didn't have money. I love to spread the love!

The young lady who lives in my old apartment said she doesn't like any vegetables. So I didn't offer her any more tomatoes. We aim to peas, as corn-y as it sounds.

Sometimes peppering a visit by foisting unwanted things on others (like zucchini's for example) can really squash what would have been a more relaxed interchange. I'm glad your neighbor was honest with you. It becomes a burden to have to pretend you are thankful for things you don't need or want. It can become a case of finding things to give back. Then the initial giver becomes the recipient of things s/he doesn't want. It becomes a vicious circle. There seem to be lots of those around sort of like Pacman.

Lol without coffee. There's a latte that made with chai tea. Those are really yummy it's got cinnamon, vanilla and comes hot or cold. I've had both of them - hot and cold. I have to have flavoring in my coffee. Why is every chocolate dessert have coffee in it. One person that is on foodnetwork - Ree Drummond - every dish she makes has cayenne pepper or hot sauce in it. She's always telling the camera "Oh I can handle the heat". Then adds the hot sauce - I was thinking well yeah no kidding you can handle otherwise you wouldn't use it.

I recall tricking someone - this person told me that she didn't like vegetables. I made a quiche lorraine and put onions in it. Some veggies I don't like and others I love.

Pixi, I had no idea you were related to salads. I will have to remember that the next time I make one.

Yeah I don't understand my hubby he quite often wants to go to Dunkin Donuts to get coffee. He says it's cheaper but then says it's too strong. I sometimes get a chocolate drink frappuchino like a chocolate shake - or a decaf coffee but I have them put flavoring in it.

I can't imagine there are folks who like every veg. My husband likes most things but hates lima beans (which was a veg I used to like as a kid but haven't had since I'm married.)

For me, coffee IN something is seldom (read "never") as good as coffee WITH something. I like my coffee with nothing in it but coffee, and anything else "on the side".

Yeah, I feel the same way about "rose scented" coffee and "hazelnut coffee" and such as that. I've been to Starbucks twice, out of curiosity, but I object to paying 5 Euros for a paper cup with my name on it! Can't we get a real cup at that price? And then you hardly get your lips wet because there's so little in it. Plus all that stuff stacked on the counter--you can't see what's really going on back there.
