We all have unloved flowers.In fact if a plant/flower is too invasive it quickly becomes unloved even if I still think it's pretty--notably trumpet vines and for a time, calendulas.
Somewhere on this earth even the loveliest flower is a weed.

The quote I like about weeds is - a weed is a plant for which no use has been discovered yet. That gives all us weeds hope for the future!

I've been a weed for most of my life. Remember in Alice in Wonderland when the flowers decide she's a weed because her voice isn't cultured?

There are 2 Alice books. One is Through the Looking Glass and the other is Alice in Wonderland. Maybe it was the one your mom didn't read. I remember it from the Disney movie.

Yeah, I didn't read either or see the movies. I sure don't remember much about them - just the clips they occasionaly run on tv for for whatever reason.
I aster to forget me not and for a while she rose to the occassion until some jack-in-the-pulpit bleeding heart in a monk's hood told her to use her bean. He said I was just a dandy lyin' to her.

I'm looking at the random puzzle of an owl and he looks so angry he makes me laugh. He seems to be doing a Clint Eastwood "Go ahead. Make my day." I know they circulate the randoms so maybe that won't come up for any body else, but I thought it worth mentioning. We can all use a laugh.
