This is an online jigsaw puzzle featuring a bright purple watering can. The flowers in the background are likely quite thankful for a drink on what appears to be a warm sunny day.
That's a fancy looking watering can, mine is just plain old green lol

Many years ago, I had to drive my son's girlfriend a long way home. We spent most of the ride discussing Plato. She thought I was talking a bout Play-Doh.

That quote doesn't sound like Shakespeare, Aussie. Are you sure?

I googled it. It's not 100% accurate but several sites say old William was the source.

Good morning all, hope everyone has a good day. Aussie my watering can is also green, old and a little rusty in a few spots. That purple sure stands out against the green grass! Loved the quote from Shakespeare, don't like him usually. Never liked reading his works in high school. Be safe " big sis" and all the rest of the puzzlers out there.

I doesn't sound like him, but it is Shakespeare.

Certainly doesn't read like 16th century English. I fell in love with Will when I was 8 and have felt more at home in that period ever since.

An inspirational quote by William Shakespeare about the value of Friendship: "A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow."
I remember studying him in the 9th grade. He was a great writer.

Now that's funny abacil - you were talking about Plato and the girl thought you were talking about Play-Doh.

Hi PW and Mrs PW - thank you for that - the "missus" seems to be a word used a lot here. Just had the outside of the house painted and the painter referred to his wife in that way. It was almost as though she was anonymous lol. Hugs to you both.

Darambo - I'm with you on Shakespeare - too many thees and thys and when I gave my life to the Lord in 1976, for a long time couldn't understand why the King James version had no appeal to me and realized later it was because it sounded like Shakespeare :) Hugs and stay well.

I'll never forget a girl on a quiz show. Kellie Pickler - Very simple 5th grade geography question - she didn't know it. Budapest is the capital of what country. She replies I've never heard of that. Then do they speak French there. Jeff Foxworthy was the host so he was teasing her.

I looked it up and was right. That's a false attribution--Will Shakespeare never wrote it.

The misunderstanding about play-doh and Plato made me laugh and remember when a woman with a PhD was giving a speech to a professional organization and kept talking about the great Greek philosophers Socrates and Pluto.
Mama Ana Maria is home from the hospital. They are keeping baby Raul for this week but he is doing better. Thanks to all my praying friends here and other places.
