Hi everyone. Back from trip out west to visit my brother and his wife and see the marvels God has made of lowly sand and clay. All spectacular but caught terrible "cold" halfway thru and still sick. Will try for a doctor visit today. Luckily hubby is ok as he has catrct op tomorrow. Prayers for a good outcome for him would be most gratefully appreciated.
Hope you have all been well. Will have to catch up on the last 2 weeks of conversation and puzzles. Wishing you all God speed.
That's cataract. They do one eye then 2 weeks later the other one. He is going to have to take off from teaching for a few days I think.

Hi pixipixil. I just had both my eyes done. For the most I don't have to use glasses. Hope your hubby does as well or better. Prays to you both. Blessed be.

I had a dear friend go thru cataract surgery. Even though the dr's told her it would take a few days to recover, by the very next day she was so excited at how well she could see, she couldn't wait for the 2nd surgery. May your husband's go as well!!
And this particular facility even had a 'looking glass' that I could watch the surgery...pretty amazing!

Thank you so much for your prayers for my husband. He is in surgery right now. Thank you also for the get well wishes for me. I had this bug last year and it's a tough one to get rid of. The doctor gave me a Z-pack to help. So it's good to heart from you, Annie, goof. globug and kjd. Has anything exciting happened while I was trekking thru the canyons? --I wish I could send some pix of the wild formations we saw. We revisited Sedona and the grand Canyon but Zion and Arches Parks were new to us and at least equally astounding.

Zion and Arches are just fabulous national parks, aren't they? My favorite of all, though, is still Canyonlands. Fantastic formations and great hiking. Lots of sandstone slot canyons, too.

Hi aknan. We were only in Moab for a night so I had to choose between Arches and Canyonlands. I hope we get to go back some time and cover the places we missed. I did hope to experience at least one slot but the bug got me so we skipped two days of stuff. Today I slept all afternoon. (We are home now.)
I remember in my younger days that "police chase red cars" lol - not too sure how much truth there is in that saying.

Assuie, they still do, grandaughter has a red camero "93 and she gets pulled over all the time. She has learned to make sure all lights, etc. are working and that she is under the speed limit and makes good stops at lights & signs.

Our pastor's CT scan was good and when he came out of it he looked at his wife's wedding ring and said they had been married for 44 years, which they had!! So something nice and positive today. PTL - hugs.
