I called these veggies "redishes" (they are red, aren't they? ) and tried to grow some as a child. Of course I couldn't wait and pulled them while they were skinny little root thingies. Same with carrots. Haven't tried again in the last 60-70 years.
Way too slow this morning. That may be because radishes and my stomach don't get along very well. Full moon today and my whole body is protesting. Hope the rest of you feel better than I do.
Thanks but not really. I'm having a diveticulitis attack. I'll be chained to the bathroom all day.

Turned out to be a 24 hour stomach virus. I didn't realize it till my son called to say he was sick and had a stomach bug.
How are you doing, Patricia & nlb?

Doing a bit better today. It was probably just the effects of the full moon. The moon has a lot to do with how much pain I am in from my fibromyalgia. The effects fade out slowly, as does the fullness of the moon. Thanks for asking, pixi. Glad you are doing better too.

If the moon is your problem you certainly had a lot to contend with as it sure was close and big this time, nlb.
Thanks cindyj28. I needed the reminder that God loves me. When I am in a lot of pain I sometimes forget to keep that in mind.

Very easy to do. Pain often tears up my days. Yesterday, it was my knee, and I knew we would have rain, and here it is today, lots of rain. Wish I could get a job as weather man.

I'm sure any of us with arthritis or the like could do better than most meteorologists. Your rain is heading our way. I hope the storms don't get too severe this time. There are still areas of the state without power from last Friday's storm. Here is hoping everyone stays safe.

After living in several parts of the country, I do think we have some of the best meteorologists in the country. They are always are on the air if there are severe storms in the area, also the storm chasers are out and the heleicopter is in the air. Best live coverage in the country!

Fortunately we did not get the bad storms with wind and hail that was predicted here yesterday but we did get the rain...lots & lots of rain. Yesterday it got up to 75 and right now it is 57 at 1:23 in the afternoon. Glad to hear from you again CatLadyOKC. Annie

We have more rain and cold comming in tomorrow, it is only suppose to get to 59 for the high tomorrow, which is way below the average, could have some severe storms, but they should stay south east of us.
still looks good
God bless you all today and every day.
