One Christmas, Joe and Peter built a skating rink in the middle of a field. A shepherd leading his flock decided to take a shortcut across the rink. The sheep, however, were afraid of the ice and wouldn't cross it. Desperate, the shepherd began tugging them to the other side.
'Look at that, 'remarked Peter to Joe, 'That guy is trying to pull the wool over our ice! '
Loved the story, AS, I'm back for one more year. I will be mostly making comments.

I'm confused and puzzled by your remark, Parson. Does that mean for your puzzling days the jig's up?
(Not meant to be racist, please. Just an innocent pun.)
Good pun story, Aussie.

In answer to your question, pixipixil, I am going to stay on here but not do the puzzles very often. I will mostly be making comments on the puzzles that are posted. I was going to quit because it is hard for me with my Parkinson's Disease to put the puzzles together because my finger on my right-hand keeps dropping onto the right-button of my mouse and it brings up the menu box asking if I want to save this puzzle. It happens a number of times every time I try to put a puzzle together. But it doesn't affect me when I want to make comments. I hope that makes sense. I did not want to desert my friends here on this site, so I am back for another year, but it will be mostly typing. I don't want to fall to pieces every time I put a puzzle together.

Well we are all very glad you are deciding to stay. You probably had told us about your disease but I forgot. My brother in law had it and so does my best friend. I saw on the TV it can cause you to have delusions. I don't think tht happened to my relative or friend. It must be some especially complicated form of Parkinson's. They keep getting closer to a cure. I hope it is in time for you.

I have had delusions that I am sane, but I realize it is only a delusion.

Actually there was one day - I was quite frustrated - I was in lots of pain in 3 different places. One person that I used to hang out with - I wasn't paying attention to her behavior. Then one day someone on here told me my behavior was inexcusable. Then this person that I used to hang out with calls me and blames me because she's stranded at the grocery store? Ugh! Then hubby asks me every year at xmas oh how come your family doesn't call you or have any contact with you. Geez! I can't make ppl do things. Thanks

Welcome Home, D5! Thankful you are better. What a thoughtful husband you have --- to save the puzzles for you. Be well.
I love little bird houses. They make a nice look to your yard. I have a small one like that in my front yard only it's white instead of red.
Only a week until Christmas. I have so much to do this week like baking cookies and filling stockings etc.
I don't think we'll have snow here in Indiana. I like to see it snow on Christmas. You all have a Merry Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. God bless you all.
I have a lot f popsicle sticks and I am thinking of making a birdhouse with them in memory of my son. He did one when he was really young and a bear got a hold of it and destroyed it. Mr. Bear wanted the birdseed. So I am making one for Jake during winter break which starts Saturday. 4 whole weeks off from school!!!

After you make the little birdhouse, which is a great idea, perhaps you could find a little bird, a favorite of Jake's, and put it in or on the birdhouse.
We had a neighbor in North Carolina (mountains) who put up a bird feeder and a bear got to it. The man kept replacing the feeder but the bear always got to it. Then the man put an electric charge to the feeder pole (not a terrible one but enough to let the bear know he'd been zapped). Next time the bear got the feeder and got zapped it ticked him (mr. bear) off so bad he ripped the feeder, pole and wire out of the ground and stomped off.

That is too funny but not for Mr. Bear. Sounds like he had a temper tantrum.
I like the idea of putting a bird in the birdhouse for Jake.He would like that maybe a robin to remind me of the Spring and all things will be new again.
Cute - Bird house - Hope everyone as a merry xmas as well. Ordering a cake for xmas dinner. Was in tears the other night. My parents had friends in Indiana - Fort Wayne - hubby has a cousin in Syracuse. I have a cousin in Indianapolis.
