I had a brother who was a natural artist. Rick loved painting covered bridges, even if it was a paint-by-number kit when he was younger.

I really ENJOYED solving this puzzle of the covered bridge by doing it in the 88 CIRCLE pattern. It also brought memories of the pictures my late brother used to paint of that type of photo---paint-by-number or free hand.

Thank you very much, my CFJ puzzle team!!!!! You're PUZZLE-TASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed this puzzle very much:) It looks like something I would see near my Uncle's Farm when I was young. I do not recall what it was used for:(

This quaint covered-bridge thing must be something east-coast-ish? I have never seen one in all of my travels in the west or south. I think they are just lovely, but never have never encountered one. Probably good. My motorhome most likely wouldn't have fit. It is 34 ft. by 8-1/2 ft. plus the car towed behind!

There were several in the Midwest and the book "The Bridges of Madison County" made some of the Iowa bridges famous

Covered bridges were built originally to get the horses across rivers or creeks. They would get spooked crossing over water, or so I've read somewhere. We have one here in Southern Oregon that sits over Graves Creek. The story goes that a young girl died on the wagon train on the way to the Oregon trail and her grave lies at the end of the bridge, hence the name Graves Creek, which is just a few miles from Grants Pass where I live. Looks a lot like this picture.

My best time ever, not that time matters. I have been in a very bad mental state, but God does mysterious things I inherited some mental issues from my mother, bless her heart. Doctors, shock treatments, medicine of all kinds and nothing has worked. for my 75 years I have been a basket case, but suddenly now something wonderful has happened to me, God is good!
