This picture reminds me of Tom, our orange cat when we lived on Manitoulin Island. He had a thing for my stepfather's boots and would lie in them. You'd call for him and he'd poke his head up. Pops would always have to check his boots before he put them on!
Also, we had a wood burning stove which kept the kitchen warm. The oven part was kept open and it was toasty warm in there. Yes, Tom would be found there if no boots were around :) He was a sweetie. We figure some wildlife got him but he lived to a good age. He went out and never came back.
Very beautiful I love cats, i've got a tabby one also all told i've had 8 rescure ones, my tabby one is a rescured.

My Paulie purrs is a rescue too as is my dog Katie. I love rescue animals because they know you really love them and they are greatful until you spoil them, like mine :)

I think you all that get your animals from the rescue centre must have a heart of gold and these animals do not ask to ill treated, wonderful to hear of people like yourself taking time out to care, my blessings are with you all.

Paulie Purrs is a he and yes he is beautiful. His eyes are blueish green. He is still in his kitten years and a small pain but he just loves his mom and sometimes I catch the dog giving him kisses :)

Hi toadalove, my cat is a male & hes 16yrs, also hes a grey tabby, his sister had to be put to sleep on the 12 september 2008, she was 11 yrs old, she had very bad colon cancer, it was very up setting for both of us, she was always for me, & her brother is the same, he always wants plenty of cuddles from me. Dread the days when he goes, as hes not well at the mo, he's got liver trouble bless him, we love him to bits. Take care hope to catch up with u again as well. xxxxx
