Looks like the Canadian Rockies..That was a gorgeous trip. Would like to see more of it. Maybe try a few parks to the west of Banff like Yoho.
My friend went to the doctor for what she thought was an allergy and the doctor sent her to the hospital and now she's in a very lovely assisted living complex which she calls the prison. Please pray for heer to find a way to be happy again. I appreciate how she feels. It happened so fast and unexpectedly it was like being abducted by aliens. I pray evey day my husband and I will not have to ever move to one of those. I know I would hate it and so would he.
Hoping you have happy plans for the future.
What an upset for your friend! Usually you have a little notice about moves like that. Hopefully, she just needs a little more care than she can get a home and can leave soon.

She was talking bout three years..I can't imagine that length of time would be necessary. She's holding onto her house. Apparently she is well set financially. I wonder if she could pay for a live in care person and move back home.

That sounds like the ideal situation, but it would be costly. I think it all would depend on the level of care she needs. Poor lady! I ask God to help her adjust and cope.
Taking one cat to vet today. She's been losing weight and eating everything I give her. Just want to find out if something is wrong. She's about 13 years old.
I do also. He did blood work and I have to call tomorrow after 11 am to find out the results and what to do next.

Did you find out about your cat?

Yes. She is on medication twice a day. They are tiny pills but they said I could smash them in her food. I'm not about to try to get her to swallow them.I just put one in her favorite food. I go back with her in about 3 weeks. Update then. Thanks for asking.

So was it worms?

No it was a thyroid condition. Crushing up a very tiny pill is not easy. Also it is a "bright pink" color. Why not make it to blend with food. If she sees any bright pink color, she eats around it. Smart cat.

Elijah, can the pill be dissolved in a liquid she likes? That's how I got my dog to take one med - I dissolved it in very weak hot chocolate, which she loved.

My cat had hyperthyroid condition and I gave her a liquid dose twice a day. She was pretty amenable to it, surprisingly. I fed her about 4 times a day, just to encourage her to eat. She would take a nap and sleep so hard she forgot about food and then was ravenous. So I found she ate more if I fed her frequently. It's not a life threatening problem.

Aknan, will ask the vet if the pill can be dissolved in a liquid.
lilbc77, when she wants food, she will sit by her place and wait. Will ask about a liquid dose. I have an appointment for her Oct. 18th. Thank you both for your help.
That was LOTS of FUN doing a TRAPEZOID puzzle. I haven't done one of this kind of format for a LONG time. However, I decided I COULD do it, despite the shape and I did it, while also watching the WEATHER channel about former tornadoes. Thank you, team!!!!!
