LOVE the second quote. I am so tired of people playing God and deciding who needs to be judged! Blessings, aussie!

Hasn't anyone else noticed that this is the same puzzle as yesterday, but the table setting has just been rearranged?? Lol!! Makes it a little easier to put together!
Mamag, you are still on top of my prayer chain. I think about you a lot...
You, too, Aussie! I may not respond a lot these days, but I still read every word! I pray your health is good. Hugs!
My hubby developed a BAD infection in his artificial knee (It's happened before, and it's not pretty) so he's homebound and off his feet till after the New Year. Now I'm trying to take care of him from my wheelchair! It really is the cripple leading the cripple! Fortunately, our family and church friends have been pitching in to keep us both fed. Needless to say, my Mayo Clinic trip has been postponed until Spring at the earliest! I'm disappointed, but we really didn't want to go to MN in the winter anyway! Must be God's timing! Please pray for us that we can survive this ordeal. We're both feeling very old and feeble right now, but we try to keep our eyes on all our blessings!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Bless you both. The older you get, the harder it seems to get. I'm by myself so have 2 nieces that are more than willing to help when I need it. Right now I am still walking on my 2 feet --but very slowly.

Thank you, Elijah! You are so right...old age ain't for sissies! It seems someone left this part out of the brochure! One of our grandsons comes over almost every afternoon to make sure we're prepared for the evening. He has a very busy life right now, so he never spends more than 15-30 minutes. He's like a tornado running through the house getting everything ready for us! Bless his heart! I still wish I had a housekeeper to clean up...but no one wants to do that for free! I've stopped apologizing to guests for the messy house. There's nothing I can do about it! Our meals from the church ended tonight (they did it for two weeks) so I ordered a lot of instant meals from the grocery store. I can handle that. But you know what worries me more than anything? It may seem silly, but it's Christmas decorations! I LOVE Christmas, and every year I fight (lol! ) with my family to help me put up even the simplest decorations. I always end up doing 90% of it on my own. I can't do that this year. My OCD may make me a blithering idiot!
Why can't I ever write a short answer to anything? lol! I think it's from spending so much time alone. There's too much in my head with no place to go! Sorry! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Thank you, nborchardt. We can use all the prayers we can get! God Bless!
Good morning all. Very inviting looking puzzle this morning. It's making me hungry. Wouldn't mind a nice turkey leg and a cup of soup. :) Enjoyed doing this puzzle. Have a wonderful day.
I cannot eat any more turkey!! I am so tired of it. My husband would get a 20 pound or bigger turkey just for the 2 of us. I asked why we needed all that turkey and he said leftovers. After a while, even he got tired of it.

Oh my goodness Mamag15, 20 lbs! Dear me, way too much. Turkey gets dry sitting around in the fridge. All it would be good for is soup. We don't buy turkey anymore. To much waste. This year, since we are not having company, we'll eat out. :) No mess, no clean-up. :)

That is what I am going to do. My sisters and I are going to breakfast and then I am going to spend some time with my daughter. My first Thanksgiving alone and it really hurts. I dread Christmas this year as well. Still debating on whether I want to go the candlelight vigil. Hopefully, I will be scheduled to work.

Hi Mamag15, I know what you are saying, dreading Christmas. When you loose someone near and dear, it is always difficult around the holidays. We lost a loved one this year, my dear, sweet niece Kayla (24). She will be very much missed this Thanksgiving & Christmas. She LOVED Christmas. We would decorate every room in the house for her. Plus she "camped out" in our den, she had her own tree there for her to enjoy. It is good you have your sister to be with for breakfast, and your daughter. Do go to the candlelight vigil, it will warm your heart and make you feel better.
We will have Kayla's mom, my "sis" with us for a week at Christmas. This will be good for all of us. Have a blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas, Mamag15.

Thank you tomandray. Prayers for you as well that you and your family will get through the Holidays. I am still not sure about the candlelight vigil yet. It will be hard not having my husband with me.
sure could eat it for dinner
