Dbnc2, how are your dentures fitting now? I went through the process a year ago, and still can not wear mine. It was just the bottom plate, I've had to top one for many years. I'm embarrassed to be in public. Do you have any tips for me?

How did your appointment go? My dentures will fit properly when I get them relined, I just have to gather up the money to do that, and there are so many other things I need to save for first. I'm looking forward to that day!

Don't recall doing this puzzle either. I took when I was in school. There was a pottery wheel. We worked with different types of clay. Even went to an indian reservation when I was on a trip. Hooray I have a new job.

I hate when my sister's fibromyalgia flares up too. It is very painful to see her hurt. But she keeps on going until she can't move. Bless you and hope you feel better soon.

Thank you all for letting me whine. I apologize for using you as a crying towel when I am feeling sorry for myself. This too shall pass. Perhaps by tomorrow? We can hope.

I too find that when I start some sort of physical therapy it hurts all over again and I want to quit, but I can't or I would end up unable to do anything. Glad my fingers still work so I can enjoy these puzzles and feeling like a have a friends around the world.

Some days it is hard for me to work the mouse because my arms hurt so badly but I have to at least do this one puzzle and "chat" with my friends here. Without this I tend to isolate myself from the world. It's so much easier that way when I'm in pain. I don't have to fake it, like I feel good when I don't. Not sure I'm up for the p.t. when it really doesn't help. Fibromyalgia flares up when it wants and I can do most anything when it is not in flare up mode. Just hard to commit to anything when you don't know when that will happen. Thanks for your encouragement, though.

Hang tough, nlbuchanan, it will get easier as you go. Just do what you feel like--you aren't working toward an Olympic gold medal. Take it slow and easy. I took a class like that and ended up having a ball. I even went into debt for an in-ground pool in my back yard. Keep at it! It will get easier! Give it a chance--it is hard but don't chicken out! Our teacher made us sing while we exercised such as "Take Me Out to the Ball Game", "Daisy, Daisy, " etc.--suggest that to your teacher. Yeah, I know, sounds silly. But it keeps your mind on the singing more than anything else. Most people don't understand, but we know, huh? Some days are 'way better than others. Do stick to it!!!

I am so sorry for you who have unpredictable debilitating diseases. I have IBS and it also pops up when it pleases and incapacitates me by chaining me to the bathroom. It makes commiting to anything impossible.
All I can pray is your flare ups are mild, few and far between.

I have stomach issues now as well. Have even taken aloe vera pills - for it. Yeah one day I was in so much pain - migraine, back and stomach. I was doped up on pain meds didn't pick up on the treatment I got from someone. Then someone tells me my behavior is unexcusable? Ugh!

Four years later I am really doing much better. I am under the care of a pain management doctor and for the most part am able to keep it under control enough to live a fairly normal life. It still flares out of control but not nearly as often and there are remedies if it gets unbearable. I'm really excited right now. I've been working making various crafts and have just applied for a booth at the girl scouts Christmas craft faire. I am finely feeling confident enough in the things I am making to believe I can sell some of them. Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. God bless you all. nlb

I take a priobotic that's was prescribed by gastro doctor. I know it can be painful with that stomach issue. My hubby's niece has Fibromyglia as well - she was diagnoised in her teens. Good luck with the craft fare. I used to make latch hook rugs. Hubby has to go to a pain management doctor. One day I went with him and watch the doctor give him two shots. I knew by his expression that he was in severe pain. Now I don't go anymore - for me it's hard because I'll ask questions and keep the doctor informed about hubby. He later gets mad - twice he was diagnoised with a stomach ailment and now doesn't want to believe it.

Yes, this one took longer to do than others so far. The curves seemed to be going every which way. Does anyone know the ethnicity of the bowl maker? I'm thinking Russian, but I could be wrong.

One of my reasons to smile today is because it is my birthday. I'm 45.
