Don't use this kind of scale, but will probably need a scale to weigh me after next weekend--HS class reunion. I don't each much at a time and when you go to restaurants they give you so much. Can't take any home while away!
We book motels that have fridges in the room so we can pack the extra food and eat it later.

Haven't been to this one so don't know. Usually go to Hamton Inn. This one has just been remodled and is on the water front. We are also having our reunion there so it is convenient! Our reunion committee has approved it.

Glad you had fun...were the girls happy to see you? Got Crickett's claws clipped this morning, not he is not getting caught in the carpet! We have the vet do it, as most of his are black and he hates to go there!

Had a great time. My Cleo has to go to the vets in July for annual check-up. Mine only have back claws.

Crickett has all of his, but he also likes to go out with us in the yard, we live at the far end off a dead end street not much traffic and the backyard is fenced. He usually on the patio or under our feet helping.
Just bought a new scale this morning, old one quit working, tried it out & I've 4lbs, need to put about another 10 lbs. back on but this is a good thing, don't want to put them back on too soon either.
Today hubby and I got to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We are not doing anything special as he had a really bad night last night. We had a terrible thunderstorm and I don't know what is going on but, it made him very paranoid, his anxiety went through the roof, and he was a mess. He was afraid the power was going out and he would die because his O2 machine would not work. The portable does plug in the car but, he was still terrible. We did not get to bed until 3 this morning. Hopefully, we can do something either Monday or Tuesday where we can celebrate both anniversary and Father's Day. Have a blessed day.
Mamag, if I remember right, doesn't your husband have MS? If so, that explains the anxiety attack. The MS damages the nerves in the brain, and a lot of wires get crossed. Barometric pressure changes can cause stress and the nerves don't know how to respond, and anxiety takes over. I hope he's feeling better today and you both can get some rest. I've been in a flare-up for the last three days, so I can empathize...
Happy Anniversary! 40 years is really something to celebrate! We have our 45th coming up in September, but we aren't planning anything big because of my health. Who knew the Golden Years would be so tarnished!
Have a blessed anniversary and Father's Day, whenever you get to celebrate!

Hope the weather calms down and your husband can get some sleep and you can too. If your husband's machine can run off a car, can it run off a car battery? Maybe you can get one so if the power goes out you'll have it in the house to use. I know some folks who have camps do that to run lights and radios and such.

Awww my husband has serious health issues as well. Then he thinks he's going to die. He was sent to the hospital one year. I arrived the next day to see him. This nurse tells me oh I don't know how to say this - this maybe hard to hear. Then she tells me oh he's dying. The doctor he had was suppose to monitor him and didn't. There was 2 liters of fluid build up around his heart and lungs. For the past two days he brings up a friend of his. She was so rude to me on the phone and now I don't want to talk to her. He replies oh you took something she said the wrong way. Ugh!

I am sorry carrolsapple, I hate when hospital staff is rude. What ever happened to the compassion they are supposed to have. I know they work hard and are under appreciated but that is the field they chose. I am sure the people they take care didn't ask to be there. We do have our hands full by the sounds of things. Have a blessed day.
