Me, too. Have been dealing w/plumbing the last 3 days. What a mess. Sewer backed up into the downstairs shower & the washer was draining and it drained the water from it rain out on the laundry area & the lower area behind it. At least that was just clean water. Had to have city come out & clean out the main sewer, that didn't work so had to have a pluming co. come out and had to clean out all of the sewer from the house to the main line. They did it form the pipe on the roof to the main line that took for ever & it was really loud (2 story house) but they finally got it cleaned out. So far now it is working again, but Monday they will be sending another man out to check the sewer with a camera to see if they find anymore problems. Finally think I've got every thing dried out & most of the mess cleaned up. Now will have to wash all the towels we used to get the water up. What a mess!!!

It sounds awful! I'm glad they've got it fixed (hopefully.) I've had to go through some of what you've been through before, and can remember how my hands and arms hurt from wringing out the towels to hurry and try to mop up some more. A wet vac would have come in handy I think. You lucked out by having clean water back up. lol I can't imagine all the mess and racket and busyness that you've been going through. Hang in there, my friend. Try to enjoy the weekend. Maybe an extra cup of tea is called for. :)

Cup of tea sounds good. We caught the washing machine very quickly & we do have a wet vac., the walk in shower was were the sewer came up but is sets higher that the floor by a good 6" so only had the real mess in the shower and we caught it before is ran over. Still cleaning it out!

Oh man, were you ever fortunate! It could have been so much worse. I'm sure it was bad enough! I still like the teapot you recommended a while back. Besides being functional, it's cute!
How relaxing this on looks, makes one wish one was on on the boat, and was able to sail it. and be able drop ones anchor, and all one: dreams would come true.Thank you team for this one.

I wish I knew where my memories are collecting. I would like some of them back. ;-)

Hello Jan, that's sweet and I thank you. You too, it is getting dark here now as we head toward our evening. Still lovely weather, but it will soon be cold - July and August are our coolest months. Hugs.
