I love to sew but my machine is dying, it is a old touch & sew and can't find anyone to repair anymore and the bobbins they make today just won't work in it.
Go buy a Janome or New Home. Even a good used one will run like a top. I have no trouble out of mine and some of them are 10 years old. Like a timex take a licken and keeps on ticken.

My touch & sew is over 60 years old and I thought I had it made with it, but no. It has a problem that needs someone who knows what he/she in doing.
These threads look like embroidery threads. I've done a little embroidery on a friends machine but didn't get the hang of it over the long haul. I bought really nice swim towels for all my grandkids and my kids (as we live on a lake )for Christmas one year and put their names on them. They turned out real nice. It My passion is knitting.

To me, those bright colors and skinny spools look like they are for those fancy sewing machines that automatically do computerized embroidery. I don't have one but I have seen them and the beautiful images they create.

Hi Jamie T, Yes they are. Have quite a few of these in my box of spools. Have a good day. :)

Thanks for the information. My mom had a Singer sewing machine that she got from S&H stamps, but she never really got the hang of the machine. I kind of remember those small metal spools.
