It would be such a delight to actually find some of these myself on a beach. Where I grew up on Long island the beaches had mostly clams, oysters and scallops...Nothing fancy there.
Same here Patricia37...Have them framed and on my bathroom wall and sitting on my glass shelves. Have many that are shown in the puzzle. They intrigue me with all their different shapes and colors. This was one of the more difficult puzzles I've done this week in the 192 piece.

When I went to fashion school one of the projects was to use something other than clothing as inspiration for a garment line and I chose to use seashells.

I watched a wedding show and the theme of the wedding was "under the sea" well anyway the bride wore a necklace of shells. It was really nice

Patricia, I have a beautiful shells in my bathroom:) Have a lovely weekend:)
How could we forget! I keep telling people that kids today aren't any smarter, they're just given more information than we were. I tell them Captain Kangaroo taught us Please and Thank You for a tootsie roll, not octagons, hexagons, and rombuses!

Oh, yes. My sisters and I didn't miss that show. And then my younger brothers watched the reruns. (You do know that we are "dating" ourselves!?!? )

Sure. I remember all those shows. Loved Zorro. How about the Cisco Kid, Fury, Captain Video and his Video Rangers, the Magic Cottage, Mr. I Imagination, Hopalong Cassidy and Gene Autry?
I used to think when Hopalong and Dale Evans sang happy Trails to You in harmony it was one of the prettiest songs I ever heard. How about Howdy Doody? I thought Princess Summer Fall Winter Spring was gorgeous. Haha. Only a kid could.

If I heard the theme to Captain Kangaroo I knew our bus would get to school late. I loved the moose and the falling ping pong(? ) balls.

I remember Capt Kangaroo etc but I also learned hexagons & rhombuses. I love the shells. Like to collect in winter when no one else is on the beach.

Happy trails to you, until we meet again, lol.
lone ranger, leave it to beaver, gidget, monkees, flying nun,
Good morning/evening, puzzlers. The northeast is due for very heavy rain in the next few days. If you live in the mountains here it's supposed to be even worse. Keep safe every one. God be with you all.
It is probably the storms that have just passed by us herein the midwest. Heavy, heavy rain.

The same here in Indiana. We don't need any more rain but more is coming according to the weather reports. We need more sunshine.

I just told a friend how I had written Obama that we needed to have underground piping on major river tributaries to bring the flood stage water to the drier areas of our country. It could be used to turn turbines at the same time and if underground would not ruin the landscape or freeze. I'm talking BIG pipes here.
