Good puzzle for a Gemini. Nobody needs to get stoned to enjoy this one. It really helps you crystallize your technique.
I love seeing the colors the clear stones pick up from the colored ones.
The wind is gusting along today. We had a bit of snow, then rain then it went back to freezing. Our road crews are really good and they are clear but getting my stoop shoveled--forget it! Chop and scrape all the way.
Watch your step you northeasterners. It's slick out there.
Be careful. Be safe.
*groan! * Pixi! Now watch PW get back to you on this stony situation :)

Pixipixil, I loved your comments about the puzzle! Your weather report sounds exactly like my day was here in the midwest. Had to scrape ice off the windshield when I headed home. Maybe snow tomorrow.

I'm a Gemini...so I guess this was a good puzzle for me (but don't know exactly why that is pixipixil? ) I love diamonds, but probably won't be buying any for myself, since I'm a single gal. My diamond ring will have to suffice, unless there's a prince charming out there for me.

It was a play on words--the puzzle contains gems.
I'm not big on expensive stones either. If you can't tell the synthetic from the real w/o being an expert I see no point in spending oodles to get something that came from the ground instead of a lab.

Hi LuvsWesterns. Do you live out west? My bro lives near Phoenix. I'm still stuck in the "great" northeast. Glafd you liked the puns.

Hi Jud. It seems March weather has moved up to February. The ski resorts near us must be very unhappy. First snow then ice then rain and hi temps then back to sub freezing. Must be hard to keep the slopes in decent comdition. I have only skiied a few times so you can keep winter short and sweet as far as I'm concerned.

Hi pixipilil. Yes, I'm a native of and live in drought-ridden southern California. I love puns. Wish I were bright enough to think some of 'em up. They always brighten my day. Thanks!

Sure thing Westie. That fire threat you folks face must be terrifying. Any chance of moving to a safer place?

I'm only seeing this now, pixipixel, but I just had to congratulate you on your brilliant comments. You cut quite a figure in the punning world. Personally, I find gems facetnating. The chance to join in was just too hard to-paz up!
Glad you got good news about your cancer. I have a HS friend fighting pancreatic cancer. As for jewerly, I don't wear any of it. I do wear my mothers engagement ring from my father, but that's all.

My HS friend that had pancreatic cancer has been cleared of it. She doesn't have any more of it. Rare indeed, but she had terrific doctors.

They're like the little girl with the curl in the middle of her forehead--very very good or horrid!

Great news from the hospital visit. I am all in the clear with cancer. Everything is looking good and I am happy.
Take care and may God bless you all.
