Oh yes elijah13...I remember hop scotch very well. Spent hours doing that and also playing red light-green light. At dusk we would turn into little devils and ring neighbors doorbells and run like heck. Oh, the good old 50's.
I loved to play hop scotch. I was good at it too! Sure couldn't do it today. LOL

We called it pots and we sure saved our best items to toss that wouldn't bounce out of the box. I liked several bobby pins hooked together.

8 squares with numbers 1 to 8. Two side by side (1-2) 3 by intself, 4-5 side by side, 6 by itself, 7-8 side by side. You jump 2 feet (1 & 2; one foot (3) and so on--at 7-8 you jump in them jump a half turn and start back BUT you don't jump or put a foot into the square you have tossed your potsy piece into. On the way back you have to pick it up. If you lose your balance or your foot or potsy pice hit a line you lose your turn. Potsy piece is tossed goes into 1--hop up and down; then 2 etc.
I can't believe it!!! My best time ever doing a puzzle! I am so proud of myself and I feel really foolish because I know it is no big deal. I like to the 192 classic style. I love the mystery puzzles because one never knows what the picture will be and that makes puzzling even more fun. I sometimes feel sad that doing a puzzle can make me so cheerful. I love the concentration and quiet time of puzzling.
