Wish that was me curled up right now. The first day of my practicum went really well. 11 students, 1 teacher, no computers, i-pads, cell phones, or smartboards. The kids sat at long tables that we use for picnics, regular chairs, and they had to bring their lunch. The school as of yet has no cafeteria. It reminds me of the good old days when school was school. It is in the church on the bottom floor. I LOVE it. Have a blessed day everyone.

The host teacher is certified. However, you don't need a license to teach in a private school. That is one reason I want to get hired for this particular school. I am working with the teacher hopefully starting Monday. I may have to leave school. Hubby is not doing good and I am not sure what to do yet. If I withdraw I may not get another chance to finish my degree. I only have 3 courses left. I have to make my decision by Monday.

We are getting the news here of the great cold snap you are having in the northern part of the USA. I think I would prefer the heat to the snow and having lived in Canada for two years, know how dangerous it can be when the snow starts to melt and freezes into ice. I lived close to where one of my jobs were in Canada and walked to work and was so afraid of going head over turkey, but thankfully that never happened. Hugs.
