Yes they are. We are having them also. Now they are saying -9 Monday night for us. This weather is trying to tell us something I think!!!!! The flu is really bad here also. I had my flu shot, and staying out of the stores and restaurants trying to avoid being around people. Got out my leggings for Monday. I will look silly, but I will be warm. :)

Good Morning, we made a trips yesterday so we had what we would need for the next 9 days or so. Took all morning & then I had to put it away.
Did get some new socks (without holes) which I have on with my jeans, turtle neck & T-shirt. With my computer being under my desk, it helps keep me warm also the upstairs stays warmer than the down, so that is were I live. I think our lowest here will be around 10 but that is really low for us. Have broken several lows already this winter. We are having to drip water, they have been telling us to do that ever time it gets in the low 20's, lots of people here have had pipes freeze.

Good afternoon, good idea to get supplies in when you can, when the weather is as such. Hoping the socks help keep you warm. Sure hope your pipes don't freeze. That's no fun.

Pipes have never frozen yet, but with all the record temps are not taking chances. Have my fuzzy slipper on too. Also have added a sweater.

Good Morning! Cold here, but water is still dripping. Left-Brain (husband) has Dr. appt this morning but it is close by (less than 5mi.). Will go with him, shouldn't be long. Getting out my sheep skin coat from when we lived in KS. Very seldom need it here, I also have hats, gloves, scarves & fur lined boots from then. My greenhouse was down to about 45 this morning, hope my plant will make it, its temp will go up when the sun hits it.

The sun is shining here. That makes me happy. Tomorrow and it should be past us. I hope. That's the key to the cold temps....is to dress warm. Sounds as if you have everything you need. Stay warm.
