Jiggler...thanks for the advice. Question...does it attach under the sink, or onto the faucet...or where? Give me an overview of a benchtop filter and thanks again.

Micki, there are two kinds: the underbench is neater but more expensive, fitted under the bench with a separate faucet at the side of the sink. The benchtop (which I have) sits beside the sink with a hose that either fits on old-fashioned taps (sorry, faucets! ) with a rubber fitting or permanently onto a mixer faucet with a little tap so you can have either filtered water for drinking or tapwater for washing-up etc. Hard to explain without pictures, but if you Google it you should find illustrations and merchants.
