The ubiquitous sparrow--there are a number of species but I sure have trouble distinguishing them. The only easy ones are the English sparrow and the chipping sparrow which is smaller than the average sparrow and has a cute rust colored cap. Plus you can tell when he's around from hearing him "chip." Don't know which one this is.
Wishing you a day of discernment.

PTL - thanks for sharing that information. We certainly have a lot to be grateful for and this is a major miracle. Hugs

Thank you, both, for praising God's goodness with me. Yes I think it is a miracle and I asked blessed Mother to intercede so she also deserves thanks. This is at least the third time Mary has helped someone in this way. I am grateful God lets us participate in His work.
I love birds. We have a bird feeder in the back yard and not only do we get a multitude of birds, but also the "critters" that enjoy what the birds send to the ground...chipmunks, ground squirrels, woodchuck, rabbits. Nature our the kitchen window! Blessings!
Once upon a time these little sparrows used to fly around in large flocks, but now you re lucky if you see a couple in the grass looking for seeds. I hope that they have had the sense to leave London and go in to the countryside, there are quite a lot of birds of prey around and the sparrow is a tasty meal for them.
The Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you, and give you peace.
