Free online jigsaw puzzle for adults and kids of a stack of delicious cookies tied with a brown satin ribbon. Cinnamon sticks decorate the side of the serving plate.
Aren't the senses intensified when you are not supposed to be eating the wrong things lol.
"There is a charm about the forbidden that makes it unspeakably desirable." Mark Twain
"Christmas can be celebrated in the school room with pine trees, tinsel and reindeers, but there must be no mention of the man whose birthday is being celebrated. One wonders how a teacher would answer if a student asked why it was called Christmas." Ronald Reagan
Love the Twain quote, as I sit here dreaming of a big piece of cake with extra frosting! (and checking my blood sugars! )

I totally agree with you both, trynfindit and sonjat. I didn't used to like dark chocolate because it's bitter but since learning that it's healthy for you (in small amounts, lol), I acquired more of a taste for it and now, I'm not as big on milk chocolate.

Lucky for me I have loved dark chocolate since I was a kid growing up in Switzerland. We used to get a snack of whole wheat bread and a chocolate in between. My mom had for the night snack a piece of chocolate by her bed.

Yes I used to go yearly after my kids were older because my mom work for Swiss air so I could fly for $90 home. Last time I was home in 2002 after my Mom died to help my brother clean out the house. This was the last time for good.

Bread and chocolate is a very common mid-morning snack for children in France. I first had it with coffee; it's really quite good.

I didn't much care for Ronald Reagan, even when he was an actor, but I certainly agree with his comment. We used to pay school classes $.50 for each ornament they made and hung on our bank's Christmas tree; now they can't participate because it's not PC! Someone might be offended...like God?

Mom got buried on her birthday she would have been 85. Still miss her.
Very tough puzzle - I had to give up and do it with an easier layout.
I wonder if there's any cinnamon or anise in the cookies - they look really tasty, but if there's cinnamon or anise in them, perhaps not so tasty. I don't think I've ever had cinnamon and chocolate together and doesn't anise taste like licorice?

Take care and God bless. Hugs.

Cinnamon and chocolate together are good.
