Not too prettty a cup and saucer. I think the originators could have done better.

I think it is very. pretty. I like cups that hold a lot of coffee. I also collect cups. I love the bright color green. All but one wall in my house is green. had it seven years & still love it.

I collect coffee mugs. Have gotten one everywhere I have traveled. Have too many now so have quite getting them. Also have lots of cat ones since I have 3 cats.

Cindyj, I don't like it either. I don't think it is exactly ugly, but it sure isn't attractive. If it is supposed to be "patriotic", it misses by a mile with the green stuff.

The green is what turned me off. If it was a better green it might help.

It is 5.6C here at the moment and while that is not too cold where you come from, it is here without central heating. We are built for the heat, not the cold. Shivery hugs. (A little over 48F)

Could not live without central heat & air is this part of the country....to much variation in our temps. I like my temps in the mid 70's year round.

I agree--mid 70's would be great. 94 today and much humidity! Have to work outside when necessary in the early morning--79 when I got up at 7 am today. Not the right time to work outside.

I agree with the bench theory. The table looks pretty close to it which would be kinda odd if it were a fence.
