I was there in August and it was so beautiful and serene. There were A LOT of people there, but it was so quiet and it felt like a sacred place. I felt so thankful that I got to be there and see it and feel the peace that was there. Blessings to all and may your day be as tranquil as I experienced at there.
Nhoward, I've heard that you can no longer walk among the stones because of vandalism. Is that true? Seems like you wouldn't get the full spiritual experience if it's closed off.

Stonehenge is an incredible place. We've been there a couple of times, the second time was when we took our granddaughter to the UK for her graduation present (she wanted to be a writer so we thought it would be a good memory for that).

It was the most sacred place that I have ever seen or felt. They have low fences and have many, many "guardians" to make sure no on steps over the fences or tries to throw something at the stones.......and why would someone do this? It is incredible, trynfindit. I and my friend wanted to touch the stones, but that has been stopped, still it was an awesomely beautiufl place.
I love that place ---- and so thankful it is preserved.
I couldn't sleep the night after I visited ---- kept wondering about the impetus and the process of creating it.
