I have a black one. Wore it to lead singing at church and the priest made me take it off. His replacement (he died) stuck me up in the choir loft. I could have worn a bikini if I didn't have to climb down and walk to the front to lead the psalm. I had to sneak up via the side aisle then sneak back never looking up but keeping my eyes downcast. I tried to make it work but I was let go. My services no longer benefitted the parish according to the priest. Occasionally at the stores I'd bump into parishioners who would tell me they missed me. I missed them too although I never said much not wishing to cause trouble. I often wonder if the priest (his first parish and he was young) ever realized I hadn't been the root of any of his problems.
I don't know what kind of tales were HATched against me but it left me distrawed.

Thanks ninanita. I think in person I might be a disappointment to you. I don't find myself to be that interesting. I'm pretty much a recluse. If it weren't for my husband who spends most of his time in his room with the door shut, I would see no one else from one day to the next except on shopping days and church.

Hi ninanita. Wonder if you ar still puzzling. Haven't seen you post in a while. I am more of a recluse now. My husband died a year ago May 1. It's been hard but I'm gradually coming out of the shock of it all. I'm back to singing but only as a part-time volunteer. I still get nervous about it.
More colourful hats - mine don't seem to stay on but fly away in the breeze lol
. You have to come to your closed doors before you get to your open doors… What if you knew you had to go through 32 closed doors before you got to your open door? Well, then you'd come to closed door number eight and you'd think, ‘Great, I got another one out of the way'… Keep moving forward. – Joel Osteen
We spend the first twelve months of our children's lives teaching them to walk and talk and the next twelve telling them to sit down and shut up.

God bless all of you - enjoy your children while you can, they grow up so fast.
Oh my - I made Cinnamon Swirl Bread the other day. Oh yummy! Hubby and I have been eating it - half of it is gone. Thinking about making Orange Sweet Rolls this coming week.
Yeah I'm fair skinned as well. I learned while taking a skin care class - the dangers and warning signs of skin cancer. I was told that if you've had 3 good sun burns your chances of contracting are 50% greater of getting skin cancer. Oh gawd yikes! I've had 3 good sun burns.
