All the puzzles for November have been dark and boring. All food and junk. You did not even have a special puzzle for Veteran's Day. Shame on you--and I pay for this?
With you on the food puzzles, although I counted how many and there actually was the same number of them as landscapes. But since I don't like food ones either it just seemed like there was always another one.
I can'tdelineate details once the area is dark so I avoid those, too. I suggest you scroll down from the puzzle header and select random and keep refreshing until you find something you like. That's what I do when neither of the dailies are inviting. I don't like the ones with a lot of blurry background so I usually skip the animals also.

I'm sorry you haven't enjoyed the November puzzles, they have been some of my favorites.

Well there's plenty to choose from if the daily doesn't appeal so I just use it to blog and keep in touch with y"all and pick a puzzle from the randoms. No big deal. We all like different things.

I actually rather like food puzzles as they are usually easier for my old eyes to solve - but then the joy of this place is there are more kinds of puzzles than we can imagine.
Hem your blessings with thankfulness so they don't unravel.
