Love any kind of squash. Have never made spaghetti squash, but have some in my refrigerator and have been looking at recipies. Will try it sometime this week. Have seen recipes that you can make it in the oven, microwave and even the crock pot! Will let you know how it turns out.
I would cook up that squash with onion, a little butter, and some cheese. Delish!

Thanks. The squash is in the oven now getting cooked. Will add veggies, etc to it when I finish getting the insides out! Should prove interesting, but at least I am trying. I know I will be putting butter, onion and some cheese in it. Have some carrots and mushrooms so that will go into it also.

Spaghetti squash is my favorite! I pierce the outside multiple times and bake it in the oven (cover the baking pan with foil for easy cleaning) at 375 for 45 to 60 minutes. Let cool, split open and scoop out insides. Enjoy then with salt, pepper & butter, your favorite sauce - even spaghetti sauce - or freeze in ziplock bags for up to 6 months. Hope you enjoy yours, elijah13!

I baked mine at 375 for l hour. I will bake it about a half hour longer next time. Didn't seem cooked enough so put it in the microwave and it was better. Put in carrots, mushrooms, butter, onion and topped it with parmesean cheese. Was going to put in some garlic, but forgot it. Next time! I have 4 serving size containers in the freezer now. That and a salad will be fine for a dinner. It's just me!

It can be cooked whole in the oven, but just as potatoes, poke holes in the top and upper sides. Otherwise, it will explode and oven cleaning will be in your immediate future! A light garlic, olive oil, pepper and optional dash of sea salt makes a nice warmed topping.
