Thank you bopit and rpayne. Right now it looks like a big blister in the middle of the eyelid. I took the last of the c-pak this morning.

These things are so irritating, pixi. It will heal, but put up with it for now - won't be too long before you're fine. I've had several of these, especially when I wore contacts, so I can understand what you're going throughj.

Thank you aknan and karen. Things are improving finally but there's a way to go before the ugly thing is gone. I appreciate the encouragement, too, aknan. It must have been much worse for you. You probably had to stop wearing your contacts until you were healed.

I did, and I'm so glad I don't have to wear any type of corrective lenses anymore! One day, I simply rubbed my finger across the swelling and the hard core popped out and everything cleared within two days. Amazing, I thought, but the doctor said it was typical in the later stages of the infection.

Thank the Lord for this answer to prayers. Continued healing and lifting of spirits and a grateful heart.

My eye is improved but the core is still imbedded...
speaking of which it's time for more ointment and compresses.
