Actually had a replica of this red phone booth outside a restaurant in Diamond Bar, California where I lived for many years. I believe it was a working phone at the time too. How very British!! Nice puzzle.

A big Howdy to a former Calif. neighbor! I lived in CA for 43 yrs. in many different areas when I was married (since divorced), and now live in Oregon. Really do miss the Calif. of the 1960's, 70's and 80's. It's so crowded now and wall to wall shopping centers. Miss the weather in the winter there, as it gets rainy and cold here in Ore. Have a son living in San Diego, so I visit my old stomping grounds once a year or so.
Couldn't stop thinking about the name of that time machine. My youngest son informed me it was the Tardis. And it was a blue police box not a tel booth. Memories gone, what will be next?
