This is something that I would really love to see. I've seen the Arena in Verona (1st Century AD), but it's supposed to be much smaller.

You are lucky debbie8327. I wish I could go there. Read a lot about the Colosseum in classes. Rome is such an interesting place.

I have been to Greece, Italy, Switzerland, France and England. It was a student tour in 1979. We were gone 30 days. It was absolutely wonderful. Rome was nice, Paris was very dirty.

A teacher I know just came back from Italy and showed me the many pix she took of Rome and other areas. Lovely country and great scenery. I found Manhattan very dirty too when there. Spring cleaning means keep your cities clean too! Remember America the beautiful...let's pitch in and do our part!
