I love tulips - my dad would plant about a dozen around our yard light in our front yard when I was growing up. I think they were usually red ones, but I don't remember if they had other colors mixed in.

I would be just as thrilled with this bouquet of tulips if my lover presented them to me as I would have been if he had given me roses, or maybe even more pleased (if I had a lover, dang it! Sigh). : )
