We took a trip thru the Canadian Rockies. I think the lakes there are only this intense turquoise in the cold weather. When we were there they were a milky sea green. That may be Lake Bowman. It si not Lake Louise. There was a lake we saw when we went up the chairlift that was this color looking from the top of a mountain, but we went up from Calgary through Banff to Jasper and none of the lakes were this color. I was disappointed. But it was still a marvelous trip. My favorites were Athabasca Falls and Tanglefoot Creek Falls. Neither required any hiking.
