Although perfectly sculpted, this type of garden doesn't appeal to me. It looks stiff and unwelcoming.
I would prefer clumps of same color, and mixed color sections. and low boxwood edging.
Maybe one of those cone/spiral shaped "things" but not any more!
What an amazing garden, but oh the work and so necessary to have a straight eye. If they had me looking after it, it would probably end up looking the that crooked road in San Francisco lol. I read this today and it gave me a good laugh "we all get heavier as we get older, because there's a lot more information in our heads. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Hahahaha - all who agree please raise their hands lol.
Both hands will be raised once I have typed this, cleaned my teeth, get ready for bed ohhh the list goes on. Hahaha

Lol - what a good story :-)) I read an article that solemnly said that, once we pass 30, we gain a kilo for each year we age...say what????? By that reckoning, when I was 30 I must have weighed 2kg!!

Both hands are raised and if I had more hands they would be raised too! Do you think all that information in my head could be the reason I am always in a fog?

Pixiepil, I love your comment about the librarian. I've never heard put better. I'm always telling my son that my memory is just fine but my filing system is a mess.

Ah, aussiesapphire, you are so funny! Both my hands are up, a bit late, had a busy day. As the years go by, the pounds do go up, not down. But I like to believe it's because the head and brain has more info to drag around. I also like Ginny212's comment about her filing system is a mess. Have those days also. :)

Love all your comments. I got both hands raised too. I'd raise my feet too if I could figure out how to do it without falling on my kester. At 73 everything is headed south, if you know what I mean. It's all that Texas B-B-Q that does it. Just can't get enough of it. Lol

I have never heard that, I can alternate that with the "I have earned every gray hair I have. There is a trial or heartache to go with each one. All those aches can cause pounds. There are enough of them to make me weigh more than I do.
I would prefer clumps of same color, and mixed color sections. and low boxwood edging.
Maybe one of those cone/spiral shaped "things" but not any more!
