NBgal, you nailed it! I was guessing something General Motors from the late 1950s. It is so very familiar to me but I don't know why. Never had an Olds in our family. Three cheers for lots of chrome!
Awesome car! We had one like this, well 2 actually. Went like a bullet. The first one was evening orchid and white and the second one is glacier blue and white. More power equipped then some of the cars today. 1957 Oldsmobile 98 (4 door hartop).
