Hi CatLadyOKC, I love doing lighthouse puzzles. This is such a beautiful view. All those puffy clouds, blue sky and the waves in the water, very inviting. :) Have a good day. :)

I think I've done most of the lighthouse ones, & was doing winter puzzles, but when it got so cold & cloudy I switched to tropical ones, decided that would brighten the day. Forgot to ask the other day if you are all settled in yet, it always seems to take longer than you plan.

Hi CatLadyOKC, Yes you are right, it was faster to wrap and pack than unpack. New house, difficult lay-out, just don't know where to put things. Some items just don't have a home. We re-box those items. We no longer have boxes in the dining room. Just 4 bins in one bedroom, they will stay as is. We are still putting up some of our artwork and pictures. We're almost done decorating.
I tend to want to do "warm" puzzles too, especially on those gloomy, cold days. Today was sunny, just cold for us. We are close to the water and it's always about 10 degrees cooler than inland. May you have a wonderful evening. :)

Glad to hear you are getting settled...last time we moved ('83) the kids were young took me about a month to get the rooms painted, cupboards added, and carpet and tile in (movers left all the boxes on shelves in the garage all sorted by room) but it was about another month we before we got everything done. At least it was during the school year (they were 2nd & 4th grade) so I have most of the day to do things without their help, but did have 2 cats & 1 dog to work around.
I used to think that a lighthouse keeper would be a great job - don't have to deal with people unless you want to, work nights, basically have little to do except turn a couple of lights on and a motor to keep the lights rotating...
