I love water colours especially when as bright as these are.
"Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present—love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure—the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth." —Sarah Ban Breathnach

Good quote, aussie. Sometimes, I get so caught up in despair over a perceived hardship that I forget the beauty and blessings all around me. Must look for her book in print. Amazon, here I come!

Thanks for this quote today, Aussie! As usual, the timing is perfect! My grandson is getting married this Sunday and the happy couple will be living in our basement. Our house is now "Wedding Central" for the female side of the wedding party. Stress and tensions are high. I just keep trying to make encouraging comments and keep up a happy mood in the air. When anyone gets their feelings hurt, I try to point out the blessings that are all around them. Luckily, all the girls are students in a Christian university, so they are all well-behaved! But get that many young girls together and someone's bound to get their feelings hurt! This too shall pass, and it will be a beautiful wedding!
God bless you all.
