Oh, this puzzle is killing me. Now I will be longing for mid summer when local watermelons are yummy and easily available. If a fruit or vegetable is not in the season when it is harvested within 200 miles I do not want it. There is just no flavor or nutrition in things that are shipped from Timbucktu. Also, fresh stuff that is grown in foreign countries can carry the parasitic infection Giardia. This exists within the fruit or vegetable and cannot be washed off. Very dangerous.
Watermelon and feta cheese? I've never heard of that combination. Do you cut up the watermelon and crumble the feta over it or eat both in slices?

You cut the watermelon and the feta in slices and you eat a some watermelon and some feta...that taste reminds me of the holidays of my childhood...my mother used to serve this with toasted bread

Did I tell you about how my husband bought half a full sized watermelon and asked me if I wanted some right after breakfast? I didn't want it then. After lunch I said i'd like a piece but he had eaten it all.

I know. But somehow he never seems to feel uncomfortably full. When it comes to food his only way of maintaining a reasonable weight is to keep anything caloric (henc tasty) out of the house altogether.
