The truth is it has not worked, because a nurse in the clinic did not ask what she should do and pulled it off with the dressing. I will see the Proff. on Monday and see what he has to say. It as left me somewhat depressed and angry especially as the nurse will not admit what happened and that is why I that is why I have been silent in the comments, but I have been following you all. Thank you for asking.

Dear barbaranne, how awful for you. Must be your thorn in the flesh, so to speak, which we all have in one way or another. I pray that this will all come to and end for you and when you said the graft had taken, was in high hopes that your leg would return to normal and will keep praying towards that end. I am sure you have already done this but forgive the nurse. The truth will come out. Loving hugs Barbaranne. Take care.

The ineptitude of the nurse is probably due to poor training, and/or airheadedness. When I was a nurse's aide, I was quite amazed when I asked questions about medical situations, and most LPNs had no real idea what the answers were. RNs seemed to be more well versed in medical practices and research since their training ended. I lost a lot of confidence in medical people during my 18 years in patient care.

She seems to be doing much better from the last comment I read and I think the ulcer is coming good. Hugs feisty
Spring is the most beautiful time of the year. It's amazing how God makes everything so bright and colorful.
I made myself sick last night....I saw this recipe for candied walnuts. Did any of you ever make them? It only takes butter, sugar and Walnuts. Very good but I ate too many. Now I'm having tea and soda crackers for breakfast.
My mother used to make candied walnuts at Christmas time but I'm not that fond of walnut outside of cookies so have never done it myself. Don't you hate it when you have to face the consequences for lack of self control? I know I prefer to indulge myself without consequences. Never happens! God bless you and I hope the tea and soda crackers make for a quick recovery.

That's exactly what happened to me when I tried making candied walnuts. Not worth it.

I did the same on candied popcorn once ---- never again!
Good news: Pastor Vicente hasn't had his second PET results yet but he did announce that he is taking all the preaching duty again, except for times when his son-in-law helps out. It's good to see his SIL waking up to the fact that at 34 he is an adult, lol! There are only 14 members in our little group and only 3 of them are men who can speak; the 4th man is in the early stages of Alzheimer's and the rest are women...even the two babies are girls!
I am so glad to hear Pastor Vince is doing better to take over his duties. I love when the girls outdo the boys. That is too funny. Our church is family is starting to grow as we are getting new members all the time. It is awesome what God can do when seeds are planted. Thank you for keeping us updated. Enjoy the beautiful Spring. We are having a cold snap for the next couple of days here in Virginia. At least it is not snowing. Have a blessed day.
Apple blossoms.....perhaps!!! Very cold here in the mountains this morning 36 degrees! Thankfully not any snow!!! Hope everyone is warm and Happy Weekend to ALL!!!!!
Growing up, we had 4 cherry trees in our backyard, plus 3 apple trees, and 2 peach trees. In the early spring, our yard was very fragrant with the smell of all these fruit tree blossoms. It was great having fresh cherries, peaches, and apples, although the cherries attracted a lot of birds that would peck at the cherries and the peaches would attract a lot of bees when the fruit would get a little past ripe.
Spring what a lovely season.
God Bless you all and bring you to perfect peace.
lots of hugs Sister Barbara SSM
