Makes me homesick for our 18 years or so of wintering on the gulf coast of Texas after my husband retired. He, too, would like to go on a winter visit again. He loved fishing the gulf. We had white egrets like this one come upon our patio to be fed. Just north of Corpus Christy where the whooping cranes winter.
