Camomile is possibly best known for an herbal tea that's about the color of the center of the flower. I think you can use the teabags as a way to draw out infections - make the tea like you would normally but place the warm bag over an infected area (like a boil) and supposedly it helps draw the pus towards the surface of your skin.

Chamomile is a long-standing favorite herb for relaxation, elijah13. It is mild and sweet smelling. Mothers of yesteryear swore by it for colicky baby.

Speaking of natural remedies, anyone have one for thrush. Nothing seems to work. Am taking the yakkult. Hugs.

Chamomile is also good for getting rid of rashes. I once used lotion on feet for grass allergy I had on my feet and the chamomile lotion got rid of it. My son had thrush when he was born in his mouth, the doctors prescribed some kind of purple dye that I rubbed on the roof of his mouth and the thrush was gone in no time. I just can't remember the name of it! It was only 35 yrs ago!

Assiessapphire, also mothers would use acidophilus (yogurt) for thrush. It may take longer than the crystals, but I'm not sure.

Look like you also like doughnuts w/choc. on them. They are my favorites, hubby brought some home the other day...just wish I could have them.
