When I was young my family had an angora goat. He was so cute. He ran loose as we lived in the country. He'd come up on the front porch and look in the window so someone would come out and play with him. My brother made a harness and fixed it so he could hook Nanny up and she pulled him around. I don't know whatever happened to it. I expect he ran away or someone took him. It's been so many years ago I can't remember.
I have to go in this week for an echogram and blood work, then I have to go out of town to a thyroid specialist. I'm not looking forward to any or it. God will be with me though so that's all that matters. God bless you all.
Cute story about your goat. Praying for you as you endure your doctor visits. God bless you too.

I had a red goat called Rufus that I raised from a kid. He used to run with my sheep, he always seemed to know where we were going: he would run ahead to the gateway, they would follow, then he'd turn in the gateway and challenge them! A great test of my patience - and my vocabulary!! Jingles, I had thyroid problems many ears ago - a hyperactive one, for which I had surgery: my Mum later had the same thing, but she had radioactive iodine. Each of those treatments brought a huge improvement.

I had thyroid surgery and am fine now. Take care and good luck.
Such a sweet little face! Goats are such lively, social creatures - I hate to see a solitary tethered goat, especially on the roadsides where they are so vulnerable: it's a miserable existence for them.
Enjoyed this one They used goats to clear the vegetation off the ammunition storage igloos on several of the bases I was stationed at during my Air force career
There are still some igloos in Australia, probably built by the Americas. They are still put to good use as well. Hugs.
