Beautiful. A horse for a princess. Tried some riding at a dude ranch. At the end of the hour with the horses walking in a line thru a woodsy area I was so sore I could hardly walk. They hadn't adjusted the stirrups for me and I had had to bend my legs around the flanks to reach them. My horse had a mind of its own and started to break formation to take off. The cowboys thought I knew how to ride and started yelling, "Control your horse! " I was just trying not to get knocked off the saddle while the horse was throwing his head back and forth and had little idea what to do. (The only time I was on a horse was at one of those pony rides where they lead you around a corral.--That's another story of what I did then.) Copying what I saw on TV I pulled the reins in and the horse slowed back down and got in line. We were traversing the up side of a gully at the time. I decided not to go on the next ride that was part of the package. My horse liked to bite the rear of the horse in front so I spent the whole time trying to keep him from doing that. Leave it to me to get the horse with an emotional problem. I did feel sorry he was so unhappy.
Hoping all your horse rides are on cooperative animals.
Oh Pixipixil, I have not had good experiences on horses either. One time a horse that I was on decided to get rid of me and lay down and rolled over. Fortunately I was able to get off before it started to roll. That was just one of the bad experiences I had. I like horses, but I won't try riding them again.

I'm glad you were quick enough to get off without being hurt, sunset. My horse actually liked me. He just hated to be stuck in a line trudging along. My husband was on the horse in front he was trying to bite. She was clumsy and kept stumbling on the rocky path. Mine was called "Brick." He was sure-footed at least.
You mean VET as in veterinarian, right? We love the series All Creatures Great and Small. We are watching it now at night. The library has the whole series.
