So wonderful to see these guys in the open. They know how to hide out in the fall with the cows in the field to keep away from hunters. It is strange that some people do not realize that animals do think.

Animals are smarter than we know. One fall There were three squirrels that played in my yard every day until squirrel season began. Then POOF! they were gone into the deeper woods.

Swamped, I've seen that too. Here in New Zealand, duck-shooting season starts in early May, and the populations in our (protected) parks just explode!
