Very funny hue44. I'll be enjoying our mid 80's when you guys hit 110! My parents lived in AZ until they died. Are you in Tucson, Phoenix, Bisbee? Too warm for Flagstaff.

I'll have to look that up. We were always exploring around the SE section. Haven't been that far west in the state. I'm in the vicinity of Albany NY and I have to say we had good luck with the weather in comparison to the areas around us which were hit hard this winter. We are all tired of the cold but really did not get all that much snow and ice.

Looked up Bullhead and saw some pictures of the area. Are you on the water. I can see a small lake from my house but we aren't waterfront (boohoo).

You didn't miss much. For the capital of the "Empire" state Albany hasn't got much. The state museum is okay and there's a history and art museum that's small and second rate also in spite of modernization. No zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, planetarium. All the politicians in this state can think of is gambling casinos. You really have to go 2 1/2 hours to NYC to have anything worth seeing. Massachusetts has a number of superior art museums besides what you can see in Boston. I wish New York would take a cue from them.

The museum situation here is about the same in AZ and NV is about the same mostly the same but mostly southwestern history. I enjoy museum too all types. I grew up near DC and visited the Smithsonian a few times. I like the fairs too mostly for the exhibitions. I like the snow scenes because they remind me of Va. No snow and very little rain here. I guess I would take my vacation in a snowy or rainy and leave when I got tired of it.

Hue44, yes, I'd say you are quite near Laughlin, NV. (smile) Actually, across only one river from there! (I'm in Kingman, AZ, so have good understanding of your locale. Had Christmas dinner in the Prime Rib Room at the Riverside Casino/Hotel. Maybe you can see it from where you live?

Actually I can smell the prime rib from here. chuckle. I like the PR room too. Alot
Ooh! I love it. We had very rare snow here in the desert right before New Year's. It lined up on the bannister of my swimming pool steps and pretty much on everything else just like on this tree. It even stayed around for several days. I sort of needed groceries but decided to skip icy slushy streets and stay at home!
I wish we could have one of these storms every year. Just enuf like this would be enuf!
